In the early morning hours of December 3, 1998, an accelerant was thrown through the back wndow of an apartment at 5601 Taku Drive. Jackie Robinson was inside the apartment when it became engulfed in flames. Robinson was flown to Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle on December 8, 1998 where she died from injuries sustained in the fire.
