| 7/29/2008 - Robber`s Identity Sought | Anchorage Police are looking for the man responsible for the robbery of the Village Inn on Dimond Blvd.
On July 18, 2008, at about 7 p.m. a man entered the restaurant, ate a meal, then robbed the cashier at gunpoint. He is described as a white male in his 30`s, 5`7" tall, medium to heavy build with dark hair. He was wearing blue jeans a dark vest, and and wire-frame glasses. He carried a gun wrapped in a camoflauge hat. He fled the scene on a mountain bike, possibly green in color, southbound on Arctic Blvd.

| | 7/26/2008 - Arson | Arson Investigators need your help in identifying the persons responsible for destroying a bus belonging to the Anchorage Bucs Baseball team.
On June 20, 2008, at 5 a.m. the Anchorage Fire Department was called to the fire in the parking lot between the Sullivan Arena and Mulcahy Stadium. Witnesses reported seeing 3-4 males around the bus just before the fire broke out. The engine and battery compartments were ignited and several windows were broken out of the bus. Damage is estimated at $25,000 and the bus is a total loss

| | 1/26/2008 - Unsolved Murder | |
Anchorage police are investigating the death of a man found inside a burning apartment located at 6135 East Tudor Road.
The fire broke out at about 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2008. After the blaze was extinguished, firefighters discovered the charred remains of the former tenant, 29-year-old Brandon Wilson. Wilson had lived in the apartment with his wife until January 22, 2008, when a small fire forced them to move out. Detectives believe this fire was intentionally set and are investigating the death as a homicide.

| | 12/3/2007 - Unsolved Murder | On Monday, December 3rd 2007 at about 9:30 a.m., Anchorage Police responded to a Bear Valley residence where an Anchorage man was found to be deceased.
The body of John Pezzenti, Jr., 55, was found on the floor of his home at the 15000 block of Francesca Drive. Detectives believe he was murdered sometime between 7:00 p.m. Saturday December 1 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 2.
At this time, detectives are not releasing any specific details as to the cause or manner of death of John Pezzenti, Jr. These details may be needed to confirm likely persons of interest and or suspects should detectives develop leads into this death.

On Sunday, August 23, 2007, at shortly after midnight, Garon James Koozaata, age 48, was struck by an unknown vehicle in the area of Debarr Road and Norene Street in east Anchorage. A passing motorist discovered Koozaata and notified police. Koozaata remains at a local hospital in critical condition suffering from head and torso trauma. Koozaata is an Anchorage resident from St. Lawrence Island.

| | 9/15/2007 - Vehicle/Double Pedestrian Hit and Run | |
Anchorage Police are looking for the person responsible for a recent vehicle/double pedestrian hit and run.
The collision occurred on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at about 3:00 a.m. Two pedestrians, Ken Felton, 60, of Washington and Russell Hanner, 32, of Anchorage, were walking in the area of 36th Avenue and Spenard Road when a vehicle approached from behind and struck them both. Felton was critically injured and suffered head trauma, and multiple fractures to the ribs, hips and leg. Hanner suffered head trauma.
According to evidence at the scene, the suspect vehicle most likely made a sharp right turn and clipped a pole before driving up on the sidewalk and striking both men and will have damage to the front grill and passenger side as well as a broken passenger-side mirror.

| | 8/15/2007 - Suspicious Death | Anchorage Police are conducting an investigation into a suspicious death. On August 14, 2007, at about 6:00 a.m., a motorist traveling southbound on the Seward Highway observed the lifeless body of a man lying under the guardrail at mile 113 near the Potter Scales.
The decedent was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office where an autopsy was conducted August 15. The victim has been identified as Nickline Percy Noatak, age 37. Noatak did not have a permanent address, but frequented the Brother Francis Shelter.
Detectives spoke with acquaintances who said Noatak had been last seen on August 13 in the downtown Anchorage area.
Detectives are asking for help from the public in determining the whereabouts of Noatak during the evening of August 13 or the early morning hours of August 14, 2007.

| | 9/20/2005 - Unsolved Murder | Anchorage Police need help in identifying the person responsible for the death of 35-year-old Martha Toms.
On September 22, 2005, Toms was found underneath a picnic table in Lyons Park in Mountain View. She was beaten severely, but still alive. Toms was transported to a local hospital where she died a short time later.

Carns was fatally shot and died at the scene. Witnesses describe the suspect as a black male, in his mid-20`s, average height and weight.
