5/11/1994 - Unsolved Homicide-John Michael Martin
Anchorage Police are asking for your help in solving the homicide of John Michael Martin. On Wednesday, May 11, 1994, Mr. Martin was seen alone at the Village Inn Restaurant located at 1130 East Northern Lights Blvd. drinking coffee. At approximately 2:30 a.m., Mr. Martin left the restaurant to walk home, a distance of about 2.4 miles. At 3:00 a.m., Mr. Martin`s body was found just off the bicycle path on Northern Lights Blvd. to the west of Princeton Drive. Mr. Martin was shot once in the head at close range. 6/11/1992 - Unsolved Homicide-Teresa Stirling

On June 30, 1992, at approximately 11:50 a.m., Teresa Stirling`s nude and lifeless body was found by tourists that were visiting Earthquake Park on West Northern Lights Blvd. Teresa`s body was lying in a ravine in a heavily wooded area just off the main parking lot. When Teresa was found, the only clothing she had on were white, mud-soaked socks. Teresa`s body had numerous bruises that were indicative to a blunt type instrument being used to kill her. 6/8/1991 - Unsolved Homicide-Shawna Evon

Shawna Evon`s bruised and battered body was found shortly after midnight on June 8, 1991, behind a building at 529 C Street. Her body was lying in an entryway on the north side of the building and was partially covered by a wooden pallet. At the time of her death, the building was a bar called the "Monkey Wharf." Shawna died as a result of blunt trauma to her head. Shawna, known by her friends as "Twinkie,"  had been reported missing by her mother on April 22, 1991.  If you know the person responsible for the death of 13-year-old Shawna Evon, call Crime Stoppers at 561-STOP or submit your tip anonymously using this website.

1/7/1978 - Unsolved Homicide-Shelley Connolly

Cold case detectives are looking for help from the public in solving the homicide of  16-year-old girl Shelley Connolly.  On January 7, 1978,  Connolly`s body was found next to the train tracks just south of McHugh Creek at milepost 109 of the Seward Highway; she had been sexually assaulted and murdered. The last time she was seen alive was earlier that evening inside Chilkoot Charlies talking to four men. Detectives would like to locate a man known as "Pinkie" who lived in the Kenai area at the time. 1/10/1965 - Unsolved Homicide--Yvonne Shock

The body of Yvonne M. Shock was found in the early morning hours of January 9, 1965 inside a car in the parking lot of Safeway at Northern Lights Boulevard and Spenard Road.
