6/18/2003 - Unsolved Homicide-Desiree Lekanoff

Anchorage Police are investigating the murder of 22-year-old Desiree Michelle Lekanoff whose partial remains were found on June 18, 2003 in the waters of the Turnagain Arm near Beluga Point. Lekanoff had been listed as a missing person since December 2001. 10/12/2002 - Unsolved Homicide-Louis DeJesus III

Anchorage Police are looking for the person responsible for a shooting that claimed one life and wounded two others. On Saturday, October 12, 2002, just before 2:00 a.m., an arguement ended in gun fire in the parking lot of the VFW club located in Muldoon at 101 Oklahoma Street. 21-year-old Louis DeJesus III was killed during the shooting. 2/19/2002 - Unsolved Homicide-Richard James Carns

Anchorage Police need the publics help in solving the murder of Richard James Carns. On February 19, 2002, at about 6 a.m., a man broke into the home where Carns was staying located at 1905 Orca Street. Richard Carns confronted the intruder who pulled out a gun and began shooting. Carns was fatally shot and died at the scene. 12/3/1998 - Unsolved Murder-Jackie Robinson

In the early morning hours of  December 3, 1998, an accelerant was thrown through the back wndow of an apartment at 5601 Taku Drive. 9/24/1998 - Suspicious Death-Charles Talbert

Cold case detectives are asking for help in solving a suspicious death case from 1998.

The victim, Charles Talbert, 41, was last seen riding his bicycle during the evening hours of September 24, 1998 in mid-town Anchorage.  His body was found 2 days later at Mile 63 of the Seward Highway at the Johnson`s Pass Trailhead.  Investigators say his death is suspicious.

3/2/1996 - Unsolved Homicide-Joseph Massey

Anchorage Police are asking for your help in solving the homicide of Joseph Bruce Massey. On March 2, 1996, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Massey was shot in the head while being a passenger in a blue Nissan four door sedan near the area of 5th and H Street. Suspect(s) were last seen driving a red and black Ford full sized Bronco, a silver and grey Ford Contour, and a red and white Ford Bronco. A black male from the red and black Ford Bronco started an altercation in which the suspect then pulled a gun and shot at the victim. There were several other shots fired at the same time. Anchorage Police are looking for the person responsible for the murder of Jerry Dillivan. On November 21, 1995, at about 7:30 a.m., Dillivan`s body was found behind a gas station located at 6th Avenue and Muldoon Road; he had been beaten to death. Surveillance cameras in a nearby convenience store captured the image of this person who police believe had something to do with Dillivan`s death. Anchorage Police are investigating the death of 44-year-old Sophie Macar. Macar`s body was found on May 12, 1995 between a house on 4th Avenue and the American Tire Warehouse off Unga Street. Macar had been struck in the face and was missing her pants. She had been strangled and a wooden pallet had been placed on top of her body.
